Feral Interactive has announced the release of Napoleon: Total War - Gold Edition for Mac. It's a conversion of the real-time strategy game from Creative Assembly that combines the original game with The Peninsular Campaign, Heroes of the Napoleonic Wars, Imperial Eagle, and Coalition Battle Packs.
Napoleon: Total War puts you in the role of Napoleon or one of four great European powers - Great Britain, Austria, Prussia or Russia - as you lead thousands of troops forth into real-time battles on land, as well as naval engagements.
It's more than just combat, though - you can also use your diplomatic skills to strike alliances with other powers, create trade routes and research new technology. There's LAN and Internet-based multiplayer modes.
