Best Craigslist apps for iPhone and iPad: Craigslist+, Mokriya, Smobile, and more!

The best apps to help you buy, sell, and on Craigslist right on your iPhone!

Craigslist is one of the best places to buy, sell, or trade your stuff. Heck, iPhones, iPads, and iPods are some of the most in-demand items on Craigslist, and as long as you be mindful of scammers, it's a great place to get some quick cash for your stuff. There are quite a few apps available that give you easy access to Craigslist on the go. They can send you notifications, keep you in contact, and help you find just what you're looking for. Here are the ones I've found to be the best...

cPRO+

cPRO+ lets you sign into your existing Craigslist account and monitor your posts straight from your iPhone and iPad. cPRO+ also does a great job of displaying images so you can weed through posts that either have generic ones or misleading ones. If you're looking for push notifications, cPRO+ has them which makes monitoring activity even easier. If you find yourself sending a lot of the same boilerplate responses to users or in response to ads, you can add them as templates in cPro+ and quickly re-use them whenever you'd like.

If you frequently buy, sell, and trade items on Craigslists, cPRO+ is a great power-user option.

Craigslist

Craigslist by Lifelike has a clean interface that lets you easily circle listings to add them to favorites, and is a much better browsing experience in general. (If you need to browse with further search radius' you can buy them as an additional in-app purchase.) If you have a Craigslist account, you can sign into it and start posting right from the app. The main page of Craigslist is set up like a newspaper, which may make it easier for those new to Craigslist.

If you find yourself only posting or trading things occasionally rather than on a regular basis, or if you're brand new and want something easy to use, Craigslist by Lifelike is a great choice. (It's also universal for iPhone and iPad.)

Mokriya

Mokriya has the best Craigslist interface available. Everything from how listings appear to how you search for items is just presented wonderfully. It's got buttery smooth transitions and lays out images in-ad in a really convenient way, making it easy to flip through them quickly. I really wish Mokriya was available for the iPad because browsing the galleries would just be a treat. It's also free for basic features, with a $0.99 in-app purchase (IAP) for premium features like notifications and the ability to post.

Mokriya is best for those who do a lot of buying but not a lot of selling, and who want a great experience.

Smobile for Craigslist

Smobile is the fastest Craigslist app on the market. It's slimmed down and concentrates on showing listings quickly and efficiently. It also makes diving down into categories, like you'd see on the actual Craigslist site, ridiculously easy. There are also basic options for searching and saving favorites, opening in browser, sharing listings, and more. Smobile is also a universal download for both iPhone and iPad.

If you're looking for something that just lets you browse and drill down into categories quickly, Smobile is fast and extremely simple to use.

Your picks?

While there are lots of apps available for Craigslist in the App Store, these are the ones we found to offer the best value and feature set for the money. If you frequently use Craigslist from your iPhone or iPad, let us know which apps you use and why! If we overlook a great one, be sure to let us know that too!
