Fruit Ninja is a fruit slashing action game developed by Halfbrick Studios. The objective is to slash as many fruits as possible while they fly across your screen. To make things more challenging, you only have three lives, meaning it is game over for you if you let 3 uncut fruit drop off your screen. You also have to avoid slashing the bombs that fly across your screen. If you slash just one bomb, it is game over.

Fruit Ninja trailer

You get extra points for slashing multiple fruits with a single slash. Occasionally, a rare fruit will fly across your screen and slashing it successfully gives you a lot of points. You can upload your high scores on Facebook and Openfeint and challenge your friends to beat your score. There is a Zen mode that removes the bombs and the penalties for dropping uncut fruits, allowing you to just have fun and concentrate on slicing fruit combos.

In multiplayer mode, you can play against a Game Center friend or against a random player. In this mode, the fruits either have a white, red, or blue border. You can only slash the blue fruits, and your opponent can only slash the red fruits. You gain points from slashing blue fruits, and your points are reduced if you slice the red fruits. You can earn some bonus points by slashing the white fruits before your opponent. A multiplayer round lasts for 1 minute, and the player with the highest score at the end of the round wins Fruit Ninja.
