Much like the T-Mobile G2, HTC Desire HD and Desire Z, the T-Mobile myTouch 4G has now been freed and permanent root has been obtained. The methods are pretty much the same as the G2 root so with that, you'll have to exercise extreme caution if you decide to roll with this right away. Personally, we suggest holding off until the powers that be can find better way of implementing root. The fact that it can now be obtained should be enough for most folks. You've waited this long, you might as well play it safe. [XDA via AndroidSpin]
