Sprint rolls out 4G to six more cities

Sprint rolls out 4G to six more cities

Sprint 4G in Los Angeles

Sprint has just fired up their 4G WiMax network in six new locales, bringing the total up to 68 cities nationwide. The new cities:

  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Miami, FL
  • Washington D.C.
  • Cleveland, OH
  • Cincinnati, OH
  • Columbus, OH

I'm not sure about the Ohio cities, but I know folks in DC, LA, and Miami have been seeing pockets of 4G service for a while now, and in parts of the DC suburbs it's smokin' fast.  Of course, in other parts it's completely non-existent -- let's hope the official roll-out widens it up a bit.  We have the full press release after the break, as well as a short promo video from Sprint about its LA roll-out.
