Sprint has just fired up their 4G WiMax network in six new locales, bringing the total up to 68 cities nationwide. The new cities:
- Los Angeles, CA
- Miami, FL
- Washington D.C.
- Cleveland, OH
- Cincinnati, OH
- Columbus, OH
I'm not sure about the Ohio cities, but I know folks in DC, LA, and Miami have been seeing pockets of 4G service for a while now, and in parts of the DC suburbs it's smokin' fast. Of course, in other parts it's completely non-existent -- let's hope the official roll-out widens it up a bit. We have the full press release after the break, as well as a short promo video from Sprint about its LA roll-out. [Sprint]
