Soon you’ll be able to turn your iPad into a wireless multi-room remote for your music systems with the new Sonos app. This elegant new app is expected to be available sometime near the end of August.
People are well aware of the multiple and diverse capabilities the iPad has and now you can add audio remote to the list. Sonos takes full advantage of the iPad’s bright touchscreen and also supports Internet radio.
With the Sonos Controller you’ll be able to manage different zones and volume levels throughout your entire home or building. You can manage your iTunes playlist, drag and drop songs and place them into your queue. Sonos will even work with several online streaming services.
You’ll be able to control your home theater wirelessly right from your fingertips and best of all this app is rumored to be free once available in the iTunes app store.
