Skitch - the image annotation and markup app from the makers of Evernote - has been updated to version 3.0, going iOS 7-only and bringing a number of changes and refinements, with a redesigned interface being the most prominent. The goal with the new user experience is to start marking up photos as quickly as possible.
When editing photos, tap the controls in either of the bottom corners to determine the type of editing and, if applicable, the color of the shape and text you use. After you're finished, you can save images to Evernote or your camera roll or share them with others, including through AirDrop.
There is also a new announcements section that will contain product information and user stories. To access this section, tap the upward chevron to open the photo browser while in camera mode, then tap the trumpet on the sidebar on the right-hand side, just above the settings gear.
A note on the camera: there seems to be an issue with getting the camera to focus. Either it takes some time to do so, or does not focus at all. This is on an iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.2. Let us know if you see similar issues.
You can grab Skitch 3.0 for free as a universal download on the App Store.
