EE, the UK's largest 4G LTE carrier, has today announced its latest round of expansions that brings superfast mobile data to a further 12 towns and cities across the country. From today, EE customers in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Beaconsfield, Blackburn, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Chester-le-Street, Fleet, Gerrards Cross, Halifax, Hinckley, Houghton-le-Spring and Reigate should begin to see 4G LTE show up, perfect if you recently acquired a new iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c.
The expansion brings EE's grand total to 117 towns and cities throughout the UK, with a 60% population coverage. It still remains the best option for 4G LTE right now, and even though some of us continue to wait, EE is continuing to push hard in light of new competition from O2 and Vodafone, with Three set to jump on board by December. If you've just discovered EE 4G LTE this morning, drop us a line in the comments and let us know how you're finding it.
