Apple's first two official videos of the new 12-inch MacBook are now available to watch on YouTube. Both were shown earlier today as part of the company's Spring Forward event.
One of the two videos is basically a beauty pass on notebook, showing off how thin (13.1 mm) and light (just two pounds) the new MacBook really is.
The other, and much longer. video is narrated by Apple's senior vice-president of design Jony Ive as he goes over many of the specific hardware features of the MacBook. That includes its new "Force Track" trackpad, its new battery shape and technology and its new keyboard button design with its butterfly mechanism and its LED backlights.
As we previously reported, the new MacBook from Apple is scheduled to begin shipments on April 10, with prices starting at $1,299
