FreedomPop has announced that it will offer 500MB a month of free 4G LTE data for tablets that supports Sprint's network, along with direct sales of Apple's iPad mini and Samsung's 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 on their website.
The deal is the same as FreedomPop's previous offer for smartphones, which includes 500 messages and 200 voice minutes for free per month as well. If you want you can pay $7.99 a month for 500 voice minutes and unlimited texts, or $10.99 a month for unlimited voice and text, but the 500MB of data stays the same.
If you go over 500MB a month with those FreedomPop plans, it will cost you one cent per MB or $10 per GB a month. However, there's also a plan for unlimited data, voice and text for $19.99 a month. FreedomPop is also selling the iPad mini starting at $319, along with the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 starting at $199.
What do you think of this offer and is it a good deal for tablet owners with 4G LTE hardware?
