Chrome for both iPhone and iPad tie into your Google Account and not only syncs bookmarks across any device you may need them on, but can also track open browser tabs on any device you're signed into your Google account through Chrome with. This can be a huge time saver if you have a webpage open on your desktop or iPad and need it on your iPhone, or vice versa. No need to type URLs, just pull up the open tab.
Here's how:
- Launch the Chrome app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on the menu icon to the right of the address bar.
- In the drop-down menu, tap on Other Devices.
- Here you can see a list of all the tabs that are currently open on all the other devices you own that you're also signed into your Google account on through Chrome. Just tap on the one you'd like.
That's all there is to it. You can always have access to whatever tabs you need in Chrome from a different device with these steps. Even if the device you need a tab from isn't online, it should still show you the most recently synced tabs before it went offline.
